Principal Product Manager Tech, Solutions Engineering - Global Engineering Services

In this role you will:
Own technical solutions and design integration into Amazon's existing physical fulfillment and logistics systems, developing optimal solutions for the fulfillment and transportation network through site layout, new hardware technology, material flow, process design, and intellectual property considerations.
Innovate with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems including robotics and mechatronics across existing fulfillment and logistics centers.
Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to generate high quality, cost effective solutions in very short periods of time.
Simultaneously manage multiple high visibility projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
Provide technical and execution leadership for large-scale business initiatives and engineering projects.
Travel 30% globally to interact with internal and external business and technical leaders.
Key job responsibilitiesThis individual will manage the lifecycle and sustainability of hardware products where they own the vision, evolution and opportunities.
They generate ideas by collecting data, analyzing feedback and identify opportunities for new products/solutions and/or improvements.
They develop business plans using BRDs and PRFAQs.
They will be responsible for creating product/solution roadmaps, definitions (user stories, performance criteria, identify pilot customers.

) and be responsible for product/solution Launch readiness.
They will measure metrics and collect feedback from stakeholders.
They are expected to define fluency in systems level architecture, critique and debate tech design, judge technical viability of the product/solution and tailor communication for tech and non-tech stakeholders.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
