Job summaryThe Amazon Studios Consumer Insights team is looking for a highly motivated Manager to lead customer-focused primary research projects.
The successful candidate will have proven proficiency in market research principles and direct project management experience ideally from a full-service market research agency.
They will have strong analytical abilities, and proficient written and verbal communication skills.
They will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail), and will enjoy working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
They will work closely with Data Science, Development, Marketing and Finance teams, always making sure to represent the voice of our customers.
Key job responsibilitiesDemonstrate applied knowledge across the core phases of the market research cycle (awareness, targeting, acquisition and retention), and identify appropriate methodology based on business and research objectivesHave experience managing research studies end-to-end from developing research plans, writing questionnaires, creating sampling plans / weighting schemes, managing overall field work, checking the data and analyzing resultsWork closely with vendors to ensure successful execution of research projectsLead strategic research using primary, secondary and syndicated data sourcesHave the ability to translate complex data sets into clear and compelling written narrativeExhibit strong presentation skills showing confidence and expertise in delivering research insightsAccurately represent, and advocate for, the Prime Video customer in all analysis and meetingsTake ownership of research studies end-to-end and have a strong dedication to delivering outstanding resultsMulti-task and demonstrate flexibility to meet stakeholder needs and deadlinesBe self-directed / able to work independently but also able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented departmentHave the ability to manage a high volume of details with excellent accuracyAbout the teamWe hire the world's brightest minds, offering them an environment in which they can relentlessly innovate, experiment and drive solutions that will improve the customer experience.
